Federal Incentives

The federal and provincial government are incentivizing renewable energy in a huge way. There are several loans and tax credits available.

Incentives for residential:

Canada Greener Homes Grant – Up to $40,000.00 interest free loan for 10 years. Raymond will help you navigate this process. Get a free energy audit done. They will assess insulation strength and other energy related items in your home. Once this audit is complete, we can give a quote for a solar panel system and you will get the loan.

Incentives for Commercial & Businesses

Currently there is only one incentive for businesses, but it’s a big one.

Accelerated Investment Incentive – This is a 100% CCA (Capital cost allowance) in the first year. This is a federal corporate tax incentive for renewable energy installations. This allows businesses to write-off 100% of the investment (Purchase and installation) in the first year. Normally, an investment this large would have to be depreciated over 5-years as per federal tax law.

EV Charger Rebate Programs

We keep current on all available EV charger rebates for our customers. There are several different rebate programs available for installing EV chargers in your home or business. BC Hydro EV Charger Rebate Program for Workplaces

ZEVIP – Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program
